Through the eyes of a doll:

I slid the pin from my long black hair. I hated pins. They poked at my resin, jabbed at me, and I could not stand it. She should know that by now.
"Hikari!" I heard her call. Rolling my eyes, I slid myself into the proper pose. When she scooped me up, I was stone still.
"It's time to play," she said.
Dress-up time. Ughh. I hated it.
But then again, I seem to hate everything these days. I'm such a little devil - and she thinks that it's cute, which makes me even angrier.
She put a another pin in my hair, smiled, and stood up.
"I'm going to get some lemonade," she called over her shoulder as she left the room.
I yanked the pin from my hair.
